Roma integration and evidence-based policy-making (RIEP) workshop on 26 June 2014

The University of Portsmouth organised an event to explore how community-based academic research can feed into evidence-based practice and policy-making. The workshop led by Dr. Annabel Tremlett was held at the Romanian Cultural Centre in London (UK), gathering some 25 local, national and international researchers, key practitioners and policy-makers. The meeting report drafted by the organisers will be taken forward as a working-paper on evidence-based policy making.

The workshop was a first of a series of events organized by members of the European Academic Network on Romani Studies in order to bridge the gap between academia and policy making, and funded by the Network project budget.
