Brief introduction

Research Fellow, Central European University, Center for Policy Studies

Education

PhD in Political Science, Central European University Budapest - 2001

Academic profile

My research interests include policy processes and the role of non-conventional policy actors in bringing about policy change. I work on equality policy especially on grounds of gender and ethnicity, but also disability and intersectional inequalities; on governmental agencies in the field of equality policy; on the role of NGOs and transnational advocacy networks in bringing about policy change in Central and Eastern Europe. Most recent projects concern reforms of domestic violence policies in five Central and Eastern European countries, the comparative politics of institutionalizing intersectional inequalities in Europe and understanding pathways of Roma political participation.
