Brief introduction

Academic profile

My current research focuses on minority participation to public life, in particular on non-territorial autonomy and representative institutions. I am at the moment developing a series of research projects concerning the political representation of the Roma minority in Europe. Previously I my research concerned the effects of ‘ethno-business’ (a series of unexpected effects of the post-1990 public policies for the protection of national minorities) on the political representation of national minorities in Romania.
