Academic profile
- General interests: the history of Romania in the 20th century (from parliamentary democracy to national Communism and beyond); the Romanian state and its ethnic and religious minorities since 1918: politics of cohabitation, assimilation, deportation and integration (emphasis on the Roma minority);
- Particular interests: the trials of major war criminals in postwar Romania (1945- 1947); the cultural identity and political discourses about the Roma in Romania since 1918
