Academic profile

My academic interests deals with Roma rights and Indigenous rights in international law. In my Ph.D. and my postdoctoral studies I worked on judges and experts’ representations  concerning identity, specifically Roma identity. In order to identify what it means to be Roma for judges and experts on the Council of Europe, I worked on judgements and reports, but also on Roma petitions to the European Court of Human Rights and I also lead some interviews with few judges and experts in Strasbourg. In order to evaluate the judicial’ representations, I integrate to my work interdisciplinary Researches (sociologic or anthropologic studies on Roma issues).
