Academic profile

1974-1990 – artist of the Theater Romen (Moscow). 1981-1986 National Theater Academy (Russia, Moscow). 2000-2004 –  director of programs of the International Romano festival (Moscow). 1999-2001 – literary texts publications in Russian and Romani, the Romani dictionary publication. From 2002 – president of the Interregional union of the Romani organizations  (projects on the legal defense of the Roms, on his culture and education, conferences on the problems of the Roms’s education and on the studies of Romani culture). 2006 –organized the romologic structure, with the help of  the Ministries of the regional development, of science and education in the  Federal Institute of the educational development. Work in this institute from 2006. 2008-2011 – prepared the dissertation (Phililogic Chair of the Russian University P.Lumumba, Moscow), in May 2011 passed the pre-qualificational procedure. PhD candidate with a topic in Romani studies who are academically active. 2009 – composed (with M.Smirnova-Seslavinskaya, 2009) the detailed grammar of the dialect Lovara-Kalderash in Russia. 2011 – created (M.Smirnova-Seslavinskaya,) the Conception of the educational programs and the models of education for the Romani population of Russia; create the models of the bilingual manuals for the school education of the Roms. 2010 – created scientific romologic site – virtual library of romologic publications (www.kulturiom.ru). Scientific interests: linguantropology, oral folklore, ethnic history of the Roms, Romani literature, intercultural communication, educational programs.
