Academic profile

She has participated in R&D projects related to the issue of gender and cultural groups such as MESTIPEN ROMI. Gypsy Woman and associationism. Challenges and Contributions (University of Zaragoza, 2004-06, MTAS / Women’s Institute) or TRANSMIGRA. Analysis of the economic and political processes of Moroccan, Romanian and Ecuadorian Transnationality (University of Barcelona, 2005-08, MEC). Currently she is involved in several projects: two of the National Plan for R&D (MICINN), one led by Sonia Parella: RETTRANS. THE RETURN FROM TRANSNATIONALISM. Towards a conceptual map based on the empirical study of the Brazilian, Argentinean, Bolivian and Dominican migrants in Spain (2011-13); and the other led by Teresa Sordé: DROM-IN. Romani Immigration in Spain: The challenges of the inclusion and social coexistence (2008-11). She is also a member of the research team projects led by Carlota Solé: CIMUMER. Social inclusion and civic citizenship: Strategies for the Moroccan, Ecuadorian and Romanian women (GEDIME-UAB, 2010-12, Ministry of Equality / Women's Institute) and DIC.CAT. Women, Immigration and Citizenship: Moroccan Women as generators of citizenship in Catalonia (GEDIME-UAB, 2010-11, Secretary for Immigration, Government of Catalonia).
