Academic profile
My research interests are poverty and social inequalities, social development, urbanization, subaltern studies, gender and ethnicity with a specific focus on Roma. My current research is situated in the intersection of subaltern studies and economic anthropology. I have research expertise in qualitative research, particularly with Roma communities in Turkey. Moreover, my thematic expertise extends to gender, human rights, minorities, international organizations and development policy.
