Academic profile

Academic romologic publications – from  1990s. In 1980-90 – stage as an artist and producer in the folk music Romani groups. 1999 – published a Russco-Romani dance’s academic study (styles, morphology, 20 illustrations). 2000 – realized a CD-project on folk Romani music in Russia (Bare Droma [Grand Roads]). In 2002-2006 – vice-president of the Interregional Romani union (projects, field work). In 2006 with the help of the Ministry of science and education organized the scientific romologic structure, with  G.Tsvetkov. 1996-2001 – academic stage (Institute of Philisophy SAR) and composition of the romologic dissertation. Official procedure – 2005. In collaboration with the indologists of the Sciences Academy of Russia (Sankt-Petersburg) realized a indo-romologic monographic study and published (2009) a new sources on the ethnic history of the indian ancestors of the Roms; the academic articles on the methodology of the indo-romologic studies (2009-2011). Study the mechanisms of the traditional culture (on the materials of the family Romani groups), the traditional cultural matrix and it’s transformations. Develop the interdisciplinary lingvoanthropologic researches of the Romani culture (cultural concepts, social terminology, kinship terminology etc.).   Composed (with G.Tsvetkov, 2009) the detailed grammar of the dialect Lovara-Kalderash in Russia. Created (with G.Tsvetkov, 2010) the Conception of the educational programs and the models of education for the Romani population of Russia; create the models of the bilingual manuals for the school education of the Roms. Created the  scientific romologic site (2010) with modern romologic publications in Russian (www.kulturiom.ru). Scientific interests: social anthropology, lingvoanthropology, oral history and folklore, ethnopsychology, intercultural communication, educational programs.
