The 1st Meeting of the Scientific Committee (SC) of the European Academic Network on Romani Studies (the Network) was convened in Paris on 25 June 2011.

The agenda of the meeting contained four main points:
• the main purpose of the Network;
• the membership of the network;
• the issues related to communication;
• the proposed activities for the coming period.
