Academic profile

Currently, within the doctorate program, I am interested in determining the implementation manner and the impact of public policies for Roma in health at local and regional level in Romania, while considering the good practices and lessons learned in other countries regarding the public policies for Roma, focusing on health area. My expertise include contributions to the health mediation program for Roma in Romania (training, program monitoring and evaluation, publications and articles in the benefit of the health mediation program), but also to other programs and initiatives in Roma health area. Other experience includes: elaborating reports and work strategies, lobby and advocacy activities in the benefit of disadvantaged population, developing initiatives which became public policies, trainer experience. Regarding research expertise, I have contributed to the research realized by Sastipen, titled “Evaluating the access of Roma to public health services”.
